Synopsis Mr. Cobb a unique con artist can enter anyone's dreams and extract the most valuable ideas and secrets of people with the help of "inception" (a dream sharing technology) when the state of mind is at its vulnerable best. Cobbs ability has made him the face of corporate spying, hence a wanted man too. Seeing his abilities, he is approached by Saito to carry out an almost impossible mission not to steal, but to plant the idea into the mind of the legal heir of a billion dollar enterprenauer. Mr. Cobb, with some specialists, must do the impossible in order to get back his life in a completely different "world of dreams" facing his own demons

Nolans Batman trilogy was flawless.
I gave this film a 7 due to its technical, acting and CGI innovation and brilliance, but cannot recommend it as anything other than attractive theoretical masturbation. It was great entertainment, but that is all that it was. No story could be much further from reality than this one was.
As a scientist viewing it from a purely scientific position, the absurd theory and its execution in this story would be approximately akin to one postulating then expecting that "pregnant cows sent into space would give birth to pigs and then return to earth as puppies water skiing behind porpoises.
The above postulation is almost as absurd as this film story was, but maybe not quite. Leo is now one of our great American film actors and did a great and convincing job in his role, as did the entire film for extracting great reviews from people who know absolutely nothing about real science, but sure do love loud and visually exciting and bombastic stories of extreme pseudo-science. However, my scientific training and experience would not allow me to join them in that fawning praise even though I did like Leo and the CGI work a lot. Human reality and truth are too crucial to me to ever become a fan of such utter nonsense, no matter how attractively presented it may be. Perhaps that may be my loss, but so be it.

I'm sick of people whining that the movie doesn't focus on character development. Ask yourselves this, if people are in a real war zone, and bombs are flying off and bullets are spraying everywhere, do you think two mates are gonna be like Hey my name is George. Other guy Wow my name is George, we have something in common. No REALISTICALLY they would be doing everything they could to keep their lives alive. This movie is beautiful cineamatically and keeps me at the edge of my seat, as we follow these peoples lives. It is as if you are there right next to them. For the naysayers who complain that the movie doesn't have enough gun fights, and explosions, and good character development need to realize this movie is meant to be realistic, not fantasy. If you enjoy movies that have realism in it, and will keep you at the edge of your seat in some scenes, then this movie is for you. If you are looking for a brainless action flick, that has explosions, and more explosions, on top of more MICHAEL BAY EXPLOSIONS. With character development, with unrealistic standards, then this movie will not be the movie for you.
